Privacy
How this MVP handles information.
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Search
Search terms appear in the URL and are stored with their normalized form, result count, source page, and time to help prioritize part research. They may also appear in browser history and hosting access logs. Do not enter confidential information into search.
Forms and files
Submitted requests store the part information, requirements, email and optional contact details you provide in our hosted database. Attachments are stored in private object storage and are accessed through authenticated operations tools. This information is used to review and respond to your request.
Hosting
The hosting service may process connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to serve and protect the website. Protonym has not added analytics or advertising trackers to this MVP.
Receipt and abuse protection
A temporary receipt cookie links this browser to the reference for your saved request. It expires after one hour. Basic abuse protection stores salted request identifiers and counters. This notice will be updated before new data collection services become available.
